“Yeah, she really does.” Siren followed Jill, messing with her handcuffs, but not actively trying to get out of them. “She’s trying to hide how she really is doing, but she’s scared and worried. God if I find those bastards who did this too her I’ll-” Siren stopped, taking a deep breath. She shouldn’t be thinking of plotting revenge. Tundra was under enough stress already, she didn’t want to be adding to it. She was doing the best she could working with the bsaa. Tundra would be ok.
“There is something I think I should tell you, but somewhere more private.” Siren wasn’t sure for the longest time if she should tell Jill about why the connections knew of her. But if Tundra trusted them, and they trust Tundra back. Then it was only fair she tell them the truth.
Siren waited till they went into a private room that she sat down. She took a deep breath. Here goes nothing. “I haven’t really answered the why the connections ‘hired’ me. Well, the truth is. For a few years, from when I was around 14 to 25, I ran with this blackmarket ring.” She paused, before speaking again. “Now I want to make this very clear right now. I did not, to my knowledge, smuggle any viruses or B.O.W S. I most did weapons, scientific equipment, and information. This was before I meet Tundra. I stopped soon after I meet her.” Siren waited to see if Jill had anything to say.
